The desk organizer that fits on any size desk and fits the needs for every online student. Easily view the phone screen and conveniently charge the phone. Features a path for the charging wire to reach the phone on the stand and a ramp to feed the cable towards the back and out of sight. Neatly loop earbuds around the hook to keep desk area tidy. Store up to four writing utensils as well. The two pieces easily interlock to create a standing desk organizer. I faced the issues of dimension constraints along with designing solutions for problems online students, like myself face. In a compact design I challenged myself to solve 3 major components for an online learner’s desk: phone charging stand, earbuds organization, and pen holders in just 4x4x4 inches. Sketch after sketch the limits of a 3D printer came as roadblock. But after relentlessly revising I designed a solution that can be 3D printed and organizes items by elevating them off of the desk. If I could redesign this I would make the phone holder bigger to accommodate even bigger personal electronic devices that online learners utilize. My design would be strengthened by 3D printing because it would allow for the two pieces to eventually come together perfectly to create a multi-use organizer for online learning.
