I've designed a train and organizer for the board game Colt Express, including the two expansions: Colt Express: Horses & Stagecoach & Colt Express: Marshal and Prisoners.
My designs allow the base game and both expansions to fit completely in the original box. They also replace the original cardboard train pieces with support free 3D printed ones, with the exception of the stagecoach. The designs use the original floor cardboard pieces from each part of the train, without any cutting, so the aesthetics of the original game are preserved and the token counters are easily visible.
Printing Instructions:
Core Game:
-Print six Car Bottom & Car Top to replace the original six train cars
-Print one Engine Bottom & Engine Top. The Engine Bottom has three supports that will need to be removed before inserting the original train engine bottom cardboard piece.
-Print one Character Cards to hold all expansion cards for the characters: Belle, Cheyenne, Django, Doc, Ghost, Mei, & Tuco. The names of each character are built into the card slots.
-Print one Other Cards to hold all additional cards. It is organized in the order of Marshal, Bullet, Prisoner, 2-4 Round, 5-6 Round, & Stop with labels built into the the card slots.
-Print one Token Tray to hold all physical wooden and cardboard tokens. M is for the two Mailbags, W is for the six Whiskey Flasks, J is for the six Jewels, P is for the 19 Purses, & S is for the three Strongboxes. Horses have two sections and are inserted face first. The Figures are inserted feet first with the Shotgun Pawn from the Colt Express: Horses & Stagecoach expansion using the lower cutout close to the Horses.
Colt Express: Marshal and Prisoners Expansion:
-Print one Jail Bottom, Jail Top, and Jail Wall. The Jail Bottom has three supports that will need to be removed before inserting the original train bottom cardboard. The Jail Wall should slide snug in place with the Jail Top.
