Here is a collection of handy DIY items for 1/2" SCH40 PVC Pipe. I will add items to this collection as I design them.
Center Finder - This is used to mark the lateral center line of a length of pipe. Lay it on a flat surface. Attach a standard spring clip to one end of the PVC to keep it from rolling. Set the center finder over the pipe. While holding a sharpie (or other marker) in the V-notch, drag the center finder down the length of the pipe keeping one edge on the surface under the pipe. There is your center line :) The forward bottom corners are beveled so you can rock it slightly forward to make drawing it down the pipe easier on rougher surfaces (like your driveway). Print on its side and no supports are needed.
Rail Clips - These clip into the aluminum rail of a TAZ 5 (possibly others) printer and are used to attach a length of PVC to the top of the printer. I use a piece of fleece as a cover to maintain heat when printing ABS. Printing 4 of these and attaching 2 pieces of pipe elevate the top so it clears the feed tube and allows it to move freely during printing. You could also use it to hold up a storage cover as well. There are two versions of the clip. Print the one you like but the solid one will require more material to print.
Gutter Clip - This attaches to a coped style gutter and holds a piece of PVC horizontal near the top edge. This is used for hanging holiday lighting quickly and easily in sections. Print on its side and no supports are needed.
Stake Clip - This attaches to the PVC and takes a tent stake available from Walmart. This is used to hold items to the ground. The stake opening is angled but should print with no supports.
Bolt Bushing - This is designed to slip into the end of the pipe to allow a 1/4" bolt to be centered in the pipe. If you enlarge it lengthwise, you could also bolt it to a surface to attach PVC to.
Flush Clip - Two versions, one is flush on the face, one is flush at 90deg. Used for attaching PVC to a flat surface like an eve or soffit. Here is the correct print orientation:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHyt-4j7_bo
Floor Flange - Used to mount PVC to a flat surface. This does NOT conform to any standard plumbing fixture as there are only 3 holes. Most plumbing fixtures have 4. I made this for my granddaughter's science project and 3 holes mounted it in the corners of a board easier.
Floor Flange L - Same as Floor flange but the pipe insert area is looser. Use this if you frequently take the pipe out of the fitting.
