The Cloude 9 Customs oil catch can for 1.8t engines is intended to be mounted on a strut brace using p-clips. This requires some relocation of relays and is generally a crowded area between the firewall, MAF and airbox.
I designed this bracket to mount to the hole for the bonnet stay clip, which only requires relocating the bonnet stay clip to one of the existing holes on the opposite side of the slam panel (I bought a new one in case I broke it, but I could have reused the original). The catch can is then in an easily accessible location with a good amount of space around it.
I recommend printing in something stronger and less brittle than PLA to have full confidence that it will endure the vibrations and bumps of driving. I used PETG and it has been in use for a couple of months now with no issues.
I used an M7x15 bolt to mount it although the thread is actually M8, as I couldn't screw the bolt into an M7 thread. The Cloude 9 kit comes with the screws to attach the can to the bracket.
