A play set model of the classic sixties Tardis scaled for the 5.5" action figures and designed to be printable on a 200x200mm bed.
Modelled on how it appeared in 'An Unearthly Child'.
This is a large model with lots of parts at a rough estimate it's going to take around 240 hours to print (excluding the console) and use up about 1.5kg of filament. I used white filament throughout, although with hindsight, I should have used a light grey, or silver filament for the Scanner Monitor assembly.
25/02/19 (B) I've added some optional corner brackets which clip over the tops of the walls to give the shape a bit more rigidity.
20/02/20 (A) Optional. Uploaded Roundel 3 Column 1 and Roundel 3 Column 2 files. Printing each of these twice will produce two optional extension walls to extend the interior door wall and the opposite roundel wall, so that the playset is closer to the shape of the BBC stage. This replaces the 2 roundel column wall that was here previously. This is the minimum length required to use the addon pack.
20/02/20 (B) Optional. Moved from the Tardis Playset Addon Pack A set of full hole roundel walls which can either be glued over an existing wall to give the roundels more depth, or be backed with something translucent for back lighting and added deep corner brackets (there is only one 90 degree deep bracket, you'll have to mirror it for the second one). The double width main door uses a different hinge technique (using unprinted filament hinge pins) you'll have to carefully remove the single wall hinges
22/03/21 As Stated elsewhere, the monitor gantry is scaled down. If you increase the width by adding the 3, 1 column of roundels walls, it gives sufficient space to have the gantry at full size. I have added 'Resized monitor gantry and light box.zip' to allow this. The extra size also allows space for downlighting and back lighting the monitor. It also allows you to sandwich clear blister pack plastic into the dividing screens.
I've removed the floor panels because I wasn't happy with them.
