It is believed that the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was consecrated July 28, 1397, the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin. The temple is not just burned, destroyed and had a poor view. Therefore, donations Nicholas Potocki in the years 1761-1763 at the foot of Castle Hill was built new Church of the Assumption of the Virgin, which stands to this day. The architect of a new temple is unknown. The construction of stone cross in plan, with lower porch and two small rooms on each side of the altar suit. Indoors, there are five altar compositions, thematically related to the life of the Virgin. Paintings, executed in oils, a very mediocre level. But the ten figures of the saints for the altar carved masterfully. This became the impetus to consider creation of the famous sculpture Pinzel. In this church Pinzel married and baptized their children. Perhaps he could be under the building and buried. At different times in the church housed furniture shop, a granary, in the basement working mower, but now the temple restored to life.
