We hebben op Discord een bruisende community, waar de afgelopen weken heel veel Kerst gerelateerde zaken geprint en gedeeld zijn, maar meest populair was nog wel de ‘Simple Christmas tree’ (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3293095)
Wat is dan leuker om voor deze leuke kerstboom ook nog een piek te printen, als een echte MAKERS4ALL piek op het mooie werk dat je gedaan hebt!?!
De piek is prima te printen met een 0.4 mm nozzle. Het mooiste resultaat krijg je als je het model massief print, zodat je niet de infill structuur er door heen ziet als het dichtbij verlichting staat.
De maat van de piek is afgestemd op de maat van de Simple Christmas Tree, dus als je die op 100% geprint hebt, dan staat de piek het mooist als je die ook op 100% print. Groter verschalen gaat prima, maar als je kleiner gaat verschalen kan het zijn dat de letters niet goed te printen zijn.
De piek bestaat uit verschillende onderdelen. Voor de ster met het logo zijn er verschillende files. Er zit een file bij om de ster in 1 kleur te printen, wel kun je natuurlijk met een filament wissel de letters in een andere kleur printen.
Maar voor degenen, die een multi of dual extrusion printer hebben is de file opgedeeld in 3 delen (deel a, b en 4).
Mijn lijm kun je de onderdelen verlijmen.

What is more fun than printing a Christmas tree topper for this Simple Christmas Tree, as a real MAKERS4ALL topper on top of the good work you have done!?!
The topper can be printed perfectly with a 0.4 mm nozzle. The best result you get by printing the model solid. This way you can't see any infill structure through it when a light is close by.
The size of the topper is in line with the size of the Simple Christmas Tree. So if you have printed the Tree at 100%, than the topper looks best as you print it also at 100%. Scaling the topper bigger is no problem, but when you scale is smaller it may be that the letters aren't printed properly.
The topper consist of different parts. For the star with the logo there are different files. There is a file to print the topper in 1 color, but of course you can pause your print and switch filament to another color.
But for the ones with a multi or dual extrusion printer the file is splitted in 3 separate files in order to print the text and the number 4 in another color (part a, b and 4).
When all is printed you can glue the parts together.
