I could not find many cooling duct options for the stock sheet metal hot end assembly, most designs revolved around 3d printing an entirely new mount assembly for the heat sink and parts cooling fan. I personally like the way the stock box looked so I wanted to design something that would bolt up to the original box.
I have two chirons, one with a volcano hot end and one with a stock hot end, coupled with klipper firmware and being able to feed at much faster rates the stock parts cooling fan was well IMO useless. These new 5015 ducts improved cooling drastically for my printers.
You will need longer M3 x 12mm bolts to mount the duct and one M3-4 x 22mm long bolt for the fan to mount in the duct.
One cooling duct stl is for the stock hot end and one is for use with a volcano heat block
I also included stls for longer end stop flags and a probe spacer block for use with a volcano hot end.
Probe spacer block will need longer M3 x 20mm long bolts.
NOTE -- I know this is a pain, but the probe spacer block cannot be left in place!!! You need to mount it with the hot end cool, probe your table, make your z offsets and then remove it. It is too close to the heat block that any materials you can print on a standard 3d printer will just melt.
