The Chevrolet Beat came in as a breath of fresh air in 2009. It looked funky, packed in quite a bit of kit for the time and was peppy enough for the city too.
Nikon D3200 is a through and through solid entry-level camera that offers good image quality, decent performance and intuitive operation. However, compared to some of the competition it does lack in the feature and innovation department and if you like playing with the latest digital helpers and gimmicks there better options available in the Nikon's price bracket.
This version was featured in the Michael Bay movie Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen as Skids alongside the GM Trax mini-SUV. The Beat concept sports a Vertigo Green exterior paint job with the same hue carried over to parts of the interior. Its profile is high at the rear and tapering down evenly to the front of the grille. Headlights that appear to extend all the way from the base of the grille to the base of the windshield are LED-type. Oversize 17 inch wheels barely hide the matching green paint of disc brakes. Twin taillights that extend upward to the back-up lights are also LEDs.
