Defense Kevitz-Trajkovic The defense Kevitz-Trajkovic is a chess opening characterized by moves: d4 Cf6 c4 Cc6 The name comes from the American Alexander Kevitz and from the Yugoslavian Mihailo Trajković, who often played this defense in tournaments. 1] In the English-speaking world it is known as Black Knights' Tango, with reference to the movements of Black horses. It is sometimes called 'Mexican defense' because the Mexican Carlos Torre Repetto played this defense against Friedrich Sämisch in the 1925 Baden-Baden tournament. Georgi Orlov (the second husband of Elena Donaldson) has two books on this opening. #chess #Defense Kevitz-Trajkovic #Semi-closed game opening
