My slightly modified design for the Saare Yachts competition.
Original: Cheap and Simple Saare Yachts Vent
Uploaded as Parasolid (.x_t) and .STEP, designed in Solidworks 2010
Simple design and dirt cheap to build, easily assembled/disassembled for cleaning, etc. Everything is molded plastic, however the outer piece could be made out of SS if desired. Middle piece is sealed to the deck with silicon sealant and there is a gasket to seal the inner and middle pieces.
This design is slightly modified to have a lower profile.
There is also room to mount a computer fan in the center to increase airflow.
