This is a two part case - the first is a case for the Raspberry Pi, compatible with the B, B+ and 2 models (and presumably the 3). You only need some M2.5 bolts and nuts (and spacers) to attach the Pi to the base plate, and the rest just fits together.
The second part is a camera mount that slots into the first part, and it just needs some M2 nuts and bolts to get it to stay on the mount, and then it, once again, stays together via friction fit.
This version of the case is actually designed to work with screens and the like, so its actually a bit taller than the standard case that Adafruit released (that most designs I see are based off). The lid is also able to be slid off, and clips into place.
A part of my "Switch" project that I worked on last year with the goal of creating a modular camera system for the Raspberry Pi. While I had more planned, its just not practical for me to keep going for now, so I'm hoping the community will take what I've started and make it a reality. More parts are in my gallery.
The idea was to create a system of parts that could be used more or less interchangeably with each other, allowing people to make a rig as big or small as they wanted, in a format that suited their needs.
