Case for Cp2102 USB Serial Port by mjstn2011

I use a lot of the very low cost Cp2102 serial ports for my robots seen on mark-toys.com and have finally made a protective cover that also adds support for the board.
Here are two choices for a protective case that also makes the Cp2102 unit less likely to break if it is hit while in the USB jack. The Cp2102 is a common very low cost serial port that plugs into the USB jack.
The extra hole allows the red 'power' led to shine through and the cut back top cover allows you to see the TX and RX leds as well the pin labels AND allows extra connect extra wires if you need other parts of the serial interface such as RTS/CTS and so on to get out of the case.
THIS DESIGN ONLY WORKS FOR THE 15x26mm Boards which I find is the most common on ebay as of early 2018 but older ones may be larger, there are several vendors.
I have made many of the 18mm wide versions and they are looking to be my favorite because they fit next to each other on the Raspberry Pi USB jacks and a Belkin usb 4-channel hub both of which have 18mm spaced USB jacks.
So use the top and bottom pieces with the thinner side walls if your printer has 0.4mm sort of nozzle or you feel your printer can do very fine resolution. I keep the larger one posted for less capable printers OR if you just want a stronger case.
If your printer has very good resolution then the two pieces nicely fit together and I don't even use glue. But you could use a touch of silicone glue if desired.
Print using slow such as 15mm/sec on outside layers and no raft so outside is smooth as possible. I use 0.4mm nozzle with layer of 0.06mm and get excellent PLA prints.
