The assembly represents the active unit of a mini-milling machine used for hobby activities. I measured every part of this assembly as accurate as I could, including spur gears. I am sure that many people would be interested in having this model in order to repair/manufacture different parts, especially the spur gears. Moreover, you can find the drawings for the spur gears. The zip file contains one .iam file and 46 parts (.ipt). For the animation purpose I added lately two objects - a Milling tool and a part to be machinated. This two parts were downloaded from GrabCAD from the engineer Ivan Zerpa (see the GrabCAD library), who created them. Slightly improvements I applied to this two objects - like the Morse 3 cone to the main body of the tool.

The new added file is „Cap de frezat.ipn” which stand as a base for the assembling animation. Watching the animation (http://youtu.be/O6HGsDoi6iM) you would get a better understanding of the construction. Conversely, by opening this file from the directory where all the other files are, you can play for yourself this animation, changing view angle etc. You have to prior eliminate the two objects above mentioned, because they are not part of the animation. Enjoy!

Now I have some questions for you. If you can make that the parts come true on the screen, and then you can make ANY animation you want on the mechanism, why should you make it real? Why to spend time and money, instead of enjoying just this - to see the animation? What else can you feel when the thing is real, instead of watching on a screen and seeing how it works? Note that you can see also what happens inside the mechanism,,,
