If you get a FasTrack pass (AKA EasyPass/EZPass in non-Californistan jursidictions) they come with some snazzy and fashionable Velcro(tm) strips with adhesive backing and instructions to mount them on the windshield of your car. Of course we know these things were designed in New Jersey or Seattle because California actually gets sun for a good portion of the year and the adhesive gives out. When that happens, the device falls off the windshield out of range of the detectors, you drive through a tollbooth and it can't read the pass, then you get a snotty letter to settle up or get fined.
Enter the California FasTrack Pass Holder. This is a doodad designed to hold your FasTrack box behind the rear view mirror, out of your line of sight but still accessible to change the settings, and not fall off. It's designed to permit easy removal and reinstallation of the pass without having to remove the mount device.
There are probably as many windshield/mirror configurations as there are grains of sand in my driver's side floor mat so, as always, I have included the FreeCad source file for your easy modification.
