"I have designed per request the original (older) 1541 for the same sd2iec pcb, you can find it here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3913444 "
This is a case for a DIY SD2IEC for Commodore 8-bit computers. You can find the schematics for the circuit at SOLO761 blog : https://16bitdust.wordpress.com/2014/12/04/sd2iec-for-commodore-64128-diy/
It consists of 4 parts, front and base must be glued together, it is easier to glue them after you have assembled the front with leds and switches
The C= logo is separate, so the top case cover can be printed upside down for better upside finish and can be glued at a later stage
There are 2 different fronts, one is the regular and another with a widened slot hole incase your PCB is thicker and you can not slide together with sd-slot into the opening slot.
The PCB will be screwed to the base with 3 screws, the holes on the PCB is calculated to be on space without vias, you will have to align the PCB to base and mark where the holes must be drilled on the PCB. The holes on the base is quite small so you have to drill them in whatever size screws you want to use.
Have Fun and keep up with the Commodore! :D
UPDATE 1: The new file 1541-SD baseN.stl has bigger screw holders and it is matched for M3 screws. The previous smaller base holders are more prone to breaking if you try to tight hard the screws.
