Build your own CNC with as much value for money as possible.
Status: BETA - Use with care!
The "prototype" is running for about 1000h till now.
Z-Axis-Ball-bearing failed and needed replacement at ~400h (50ct)
Belt needed to be replaced at ~ 700h (~15€)
Added fans to run motors at full current (~10€)
Ballbearings needed readjustement at ~400h
Scales up to 2m by 2m! (depending on size of choosen rails)
I'm using 120x100cm rails(Y/X). More than 120cm per rail might need some reinforcements!
Uses NEMA23 Steppers @ 36V
Working Speed: up to 4000mm/min
Moving Speed: 6000mm/min
Spindle: Kress 1050 FME
Capable of dealing with Aluminum - Prescision ~0.07mm (0.2mm cutting depth // 0.1mm sideways)

Old PC with LinuxCNC (Dell Optiplex 745. got mine from lapstore.de ~40€)
Ballbearings: 608zz
GT2-Timing Belt with steel core (aliexpress)
Tons of screws& Nuts - M8, different sizes (buy online. got mine from schraubenking.at)
Z-Axis: Build one yourself (requires CNC and experience. Template included in the plans)
OR get a premade one from here (ebay: "cnc z-achse" seller: flohmarkt4u)
