Hey buddies!
Here is the last version of my Lock and Bottle holder for the Hoptown 500 bike from B'Twin (marvelous bike by the way). It is adapted to the B'Twin U 900 Mini lock and the B'Twin 550 mL bottle.The lock is pretty easy to attach and remove to the holder, you just have to slide it in.The bottle is clipped to the holder by simply pushing , and it can be unclipped while driving. :-)
Prior installing, you have to add some felt pads inside each interior corner of the two main printed parts (see picture). It will avoid any vibration of the holder when installed on the bike, and help sliding the holder forward and backward on the bike frame to free the lock.
To install the holder, first place the 3 clips inside their pockets on the "Lock" printed part (see picture). Then, install the "Lock" part on the bike frame. For this, first put the bottom part of the printed part below the frame, and be sure that the cables are all fitting inside the spacing dedicated. After this, just push the top part of the piece over the top of the bike frame. It should clip around the frame without breaking the printed part. Be gentle but forceful while pushing the top part (don't hesitate to really push). After installing the "Lock" part, install the "Bottle" part the same way, and slide it against the "Lock" part. The clips should fit the corresponding pockets depending to your 3D printer tolerance. If it's not the case, use a little piece of sand paper to make it fit. ;-)
You can finally add some rubber band on top and bottom of the holder to secure the two parts together.
If the lock doesn’t slide in the holder perfectly, here again a small piece for sand paper will do the trick.
I hope you'll find this useful. I've been using it for 1 month now, everyday, and it didn't move at all. Even on shaky roads.
