The Vultee BT-13/BT-15 Valiant was a basic Army Air Force trainer for training bomber crews during and after World War II. Essentially the same model was also used by the Navy under the designations of SVN-1 and SVN-2 I built this model to look realistic enough to use in still renders and videos, but low poly enough to use in a game engine. I included a few common US Army color schemes, but there are so many different color schemes and variations in the wild that I couldn't possibly include them all. If you would like to see a specific color scheme or variation, let me know and I may be able to create an additional texture set. A simple black and white mask provides an easy way to create custom fuselage numbers manually, or programatically if you're clever with programming shaders. Rigging includes a simple up/down/left/right control to move the flaps, handles to open and close the canopies, and all the appropriate pivots on the propellor and wheels. This model really shines with the PBR based textures, but I also included maps for conventional textures for the red nose variant. (Diffuse, specular, etc.) The native MAX file is the preferred format, which has the rigging and PBR textures. The other formats only provide the mesh and UVW mapping. The pilots shown in some renders are not included. airplane aircraft propeller wwii historic army trainer flight aviate two seat historic aircraft
