I had an old iPhone 5 Brodit dock and decided to modify it for use with my Nexus 6p. It fits a phone without a case. Currently the width is just about perfect, but the groove is slightly deeper the needed. I'm happy with it at the moment, but may modify it later for a tighter fit.
The cable holder screws to the original front plate. I have provided two versions - the first is to fit a cable I had from Ali-Express:

The second is to fit the original short USB A -> USB-C cable which came with the phone.
It is also worth noting that due to the width of the USB-C connector and the pre-designated positioning of the the screws holding the cable in place, when assembled the thread of the screws will come into contact against the sides of the USB connector. Please don't use this mount unless you are aware that the cable may be slightly damaged by the mounting screws.
I'd recommend printing in ABS as PLA may soften in a hot car.
