Built an Espresso Press using a Juicer from Amazon, and 3D printed a couple parts. The Tamper screws into the shaft using a Socket Set Screw, M8-1.25 about 1" long. The tamper should slide tightly into the shaft, then screw in till it is tight.
Use the proper tap to thread, then insert the Socket Set Screw into the 3D printed tamper.
The base, or portafilter holder slides into the main shaft with a socket set screw in the front and back. (only problem is I found the holder might be a bit to weak. I used the 3D printed part as a template to re-create with steel)
Either way, I uploaded all the parts. This thing works great.
