So, I got really cheezed off with not being able to find a decent Titan Aero mount with a 5015 blower that either wasn't in one piece, or was just truly awful!
Also, all of the mounts I have come across for the blower do not accommodate the 40mm stepper that now comes with the Titan Aero.
UPDATE V3 (all)
Added a thicker front wall to fix reported issues with printing.
HUGE UPDATE V2.0 + V2.2
Thanks for all the feedback on what you guys want! So here they are, BL-owy V2.0 and BreEZ-ABL V2.2.
Both units have the new nozzle and air chanel design from my other Titan Aero design "The Squall" making these stronger and more efficient - look better too!
EZABL added to a new model - the BreEZy-ABL V2.2.
BrEZy-ABL V2.2 has a reinforced EZABL mount that connects to the air channel and a wider collar to better fir the fixing nut. (thanks to Stegolin for helping out here)
V1.1 has a bigger clearance from the heat block to the air channel as V1.0 can warp when it is printed in PLA, and you are running the nozzle at above 210 degrees C.
Ideally, print the mount out of PETG or ABS.
**Update, thanks for letting me know there was a hole in the STL :o
I have closed this up in V1-11 and removed v1.1. Thanks! :)
So I thing'd up my own single piece mount. :)
This mount will work with the new 40mm nema 17 that now ships with the updated Titan Aero from E3D. You can also use the mount for the 25mm pancake motor too.
Loosely based on the mount my CNCKitchen here:https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2756792
This mount has been cut apart and had an air channel built in to the lower deck with integrated nozzles, and a bltouch platform.
I have a Noctua A4x20 installed, but works with any 40mm fan on the heatsink.
There is a space in the wall between the motor side and the extruder side that will allow you to feed your stepper wires through to keep it nice and neat. Note, this is not in the "real" photos as that is a pre-release edition.
I have also made the cable peg wider and taller to secure the cables from wiggling about and snapping things - which is all too common from what I hear about this type of mount.
Airflow has been calculated to make sure half of the flow goes to each nozzle. And when I say calculated, I used many different prints and some high-tech tissue paper to check for deviation. I know right? But it worked.
