Breathing mask - functional (work in progress) by _sOnGoKu_

I have ventured to create a breathing mask, for use in the home workshop. There is not a super mask is not recommended for toxic jobs or something similar.
I'm going to use for everyday things, such as some spray paint when I'm using the disk sander or grinder working wood etc..
It has two interchangeable hose filters and esay removable for cleaning. It also will have a valve (above the nose), which allows the air outlet, but not the entrance. thus forcing fresh air to have to enter through the side holes.
bayonet conectors have been modified from the thing were the filters come, because the model did not fit right.
These are now firm and also adding a (rubber) is much better seal.
If there is a gap in the joints of the mask and filters conectors, use some thermal glue will be enough to seal it. I will also put a small strip of foam around the inside (where the nose rests) so that it is as tight as possible.
I've done some plugs to remove the filters if you want. Or work only with one.
The option is served. Also the filters can be oriented in different ways.

As a filter, I will test cutting a protective mask (the tipical mask low cost), also between coats I put a baby wipe, which also give some good smell, sure something removes xD.
it have been a total of 5 layers in each filter. So in theory it's like have five masks put into one xD something more has to be filtered.
I've also put some foam pices (normaly used to put in window frames together with crystals) has quite strong glue the back, and with hot heat melts so that it is difficult to peel it off.
It seems that pretty well sealed so the mask to my face. if high pressure to exercise the gums when they are installed, I think it will be more than enough for its purpose

add photo of the hooks for rubber.
They fit very well on the holes of the mask.
When i have a gum, i will see if it grabs the face as it should.
Next step , find a valve ..
