This simple device slips over the post on the charger stand for your Braun Oral-B toothbrush. It allows air to circulate under the toothbrush as it charges and prevents mold/mildew/bacteria/yuck from accumulating on top of the charger and/or on the bottom of the toothbrush.

I added tiny knobs to further allow air circulation under the device itself. Install with the tiny knobs pointing down.

Just to be clear: the picture of the bare stand is NOT what happens if you don't have the spacer. What you see is just mineral accumulation, which is what happens when you have hard water like we do. The picture shows that you'll still need to clean the stand once in a while.
In my experience, without the spacer the base turns a reddish/browny colour from bacteria and/or fungus. Much worse. :-P
