It can be flipped to be a regular box or table tray.
The main tray.scad file is Public Domain Dedication license, but if you are interested in roundedcube.scad, I would like for you to keep me in the loop.
If you open tray.scad, there are variables that allow you to customize a lot of things about the tray. I'm new to 3D printing, and would change some things about my settings for next time. I might have gone with thicker walls and a little more tray height (that's the rim), but I opted to use less filament. So you might want to adjust that especially if you're still getting used to print settings. If you really know a lot about it, then I think you can easily successfully print this as-is. The next time I print one I'll upload a new .scad file. It turned out good and usable.
If you have customized the tray.scad file -- When you are ready to export for printing, set your $fs variable in roundedcube.scad to 0.01 to get smoother corners. It will take longer to render but it is worth it when the customization is ready.
The modules/functions in tray.scad to keep in mind are build_base() and build_top(). The latter is commented out in the file upload. So you will only see the base when you open the file. This way, you can comment one, export, print, then swap the comments and print the other part.
