This is a tool to help disconnect the bowden tube from the fitting. I designed it to work with the PC4 type fittings I got with my E3D V6 clone (see picture). These are the silver fittings with black elliptical spring loaded locking collar for 4mm tubing. The tool slips over thumb and allows the use of the fingers to support the extruder, carriage etc. When pressing the tool with your thumb it doesn't take much to depress locking collar to release the tubing. You should feel or hear a sort of click when it is far enough depressed.
Suggest start the print and stop after 10 or 15 layers. Remove the partial print and check fit on thumb. You can try modifying the included the Fusion 360 file to change fit and length (75mm in pic) as required. If fit is OK print it again and let it finish.
