I modified "Super Bernis simple MK8 bowden extruder" Lever, that the printer's conversion (linear rails) becomes redundant, the bearings in the V -slot roller are usable.
The hole was then increased to 5mm and the bearing support was reduced to 4mm.
I use for Micromake C1, MK8 direct drive extruder.
Much better than the original, because it can be relaxed with one motion (no need to twist) and constant spring force results in proper movement.
The tension spring is exactly the same as the factory bed level spring. I've already ordered some of Aliexpress from Micromake's official vendor.https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Micromake-3D-Printer-Parts-10pcs-lot-3D-Printer-Extruder-Spring-for-Ultimaker-Makerbot-Wade-1-2mm/32709968690.html?spm= a2g0s.9042311.0.0.OD13it
IMPORTANT!
The original Extruder Micromake C1 uses a top bearing, which is a lower bearing. The direction of rotation of the extruder stepper motor must be changed in the firmware !!
