A buddy of mine was crafting up some Nuka-Cola caps so I designed these for him. They hold your bottle caps from rotating or moving while you work on them. They are currently designed for holding caps right side up only - let me know if you want a version for upside down caps.
These held any of the non-mangled beer bottle caps I tried to put in them -- some of them required a bit of squeezing to get in, and others were loose and jiggled a little bit (but still couldn't rotate). Your results may vary.
UPDATE: I've added capjiglite_v1.10stack.stl after reports that capjigv1.05stack.stl wasn't very accepting of caps that were a bit deformed. As you can see, this new one has fewer triangle posts. This means caps will go in a bit easier -- they may also jiggle a bit more, but still won't be able to move or rotate.
Print capjigkeyv1.0.stl to lock two or more of the jigs together. The key fit perfectly for me, --I had to put it in upside down since those bottom layers are fatter.
Also, these trays are stackable, so if you need to let some paint or glue dry and still want your workspace, you can stack em up - there are little indents in the bottom corners to line up with the corner posts.
Dims:
3.75" long x 3.75" wide (95.3mm)
base is 1/8" thick, triangles are 1/8" tall . (3.18mm)
Posts are 0.78" (19.8mm) tall, and make for a stack height of 11/16" (17.5mm).
