Wee-Bot: Bluetooth-Controlled Arduino Robot
by Kevin Mercerhttp://www.KevinRMercer.com
Overview:
These plans allow you to build a simple and affordable robot that can be controlled via Bluetooth and an Android device. As two continuous rotation servos are used, a motor driver is not necessary. Also, this robot utilizes an Arduino Uno/Genuino with individual signal, voltage, and ground breakout pins. Therefore, a breadboard is not necessary; the servo harnesses are instead plugged directly into the Arduino board, as are the wires for the Bluetooth module.
Materials:
1 x Arduino/Genuino Uno Development Board with Breakout Pins
2 x Continuous Rotation Servo Motors (With Horns & Screws)
4 x 4 - 40 Machine Screws & Nuts, 1 inch each
4 x 4 - 40 Machine Screws & Nuts, 1/2 inch (.5) each
1 x 9 Volt Battery & Harness
1 x HC-06 Bluetooth Module
2 x LED's (Optional)
2 x Rubber Bands (Optional)
Several Small Zip Ties
Command Strips or Adhesive-Backed Velcro (Optional)
Bluetooth RC Controller (Android Application)

Tips:
-Once each servo is fitted, you will need to enlarge the existing and/or create a new hole for the 4 - 40 machine screws to fit properly. Alternatively, you can clip the portion of the wing off with small snips.
-Any cross-shaped or circular servo horn will work. Each wheel should only require two machine screws for attachment.
-If your car seems to get too little traction on slick floors, add a rubber band to each wheel. A 3 inch by 1/4 inch (.25 inch) band will work well.
-Continuous rotation servos may require "zeroing". If a motor rotates when it should not, adjust the small Phillips screw on its bottom side until the motor stops rotating.
