This is a quick remix of the BL touch mount which should not require supports to print and has a flat bottom so the BL Touch (or 3D Touch in my case) can sit on a relatively flat surface. I also added a channel for the cables to route though and this will also allow the sensor to be mounted with the logo side out. I added a second version which has a larger cable channel and a cut out to route several more wires through if needed.
Credit to Chito for his awesome "Heavy Duty customisable modular e3D V6 mount Volcano 5015 ABL" (breathe), or "HDCME3DV6MV5015ABL" for short ;-D
I forgot one important note, I did not change the stock probe mounting points so it should be the same as on Chito's original probe mount:
BLTouch mount. Offset X: (+/-) 33.265 mm / Y: -1.00 mm
So one more note on the offsets, Marlin requires the values as integers (numbers without decimal points) not floating numbers (with decimal point) so I had to enter them like this - otherwise it would compile with an error about floating numbers:
#define X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -33 // X offset: -left +right [of the nozzle]
#define Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -1 // Y offset: -front +behind [the nozzle]
I have moved on since I printed this, and am now trying a Titan Aero. When I did use this mount, it seemed to work well enough from what I could tell, given all the other problems my printer has had.
