My brother wanted to be able to switch off his bike front light which was always on when he was driving.
Solution: a 2 way switch (e.g. https://www.conrad.de/de/schiebeschalter-30-vdc-035-a-1-x-einein-knitter-switch-mfs-131d-1-st-705737.html -> should not be advertisement for this company) cable cutter, a little bit solder, a hot glue gun, two little screws and this 3D printed housing.
Modeled a snap mechanism to put the two parts together. There is a mold on each housing part where you can put in a small rubber band or something else to protect the housing even more from water coming in.
There are three options for fixing this switch to your light: use the tunnel and click the "bottom" over the metal holder of the light, if your light is of the type shown in the picture. Additionally i added a tunnel for cable ties to fix the bottom to structures of the bike. The third option is to use the bolt which holds the light. For that I added a little disc with a hole to put the bolt in. I hope one option will fit for you.
