These two bevel gears are designed to allow two shafts at a 90 degree angle to interact with one another. The hole on the cylinder piece is designed for m4 screws, 5 mm long and is for attaching it to a shaft. I have been using normal screws and just digging them into the plastic shaft to secure it, but I'm pretty sure set screws would work fine too.
If you want to see it along with other protoboard pieces in action, checkout the following link for the electromagnet coil winder project video this piece was designed for : https://youtu.be/6PboX704FvM
I uploaded the f3d file and step file in addition to the stl. Feel free to edit it however you like and use it in other projects if it is helpful, please attribute it though : )
These gears were designed with the help of GF Gear Generator, an addon for fusion 360. It worked great!
