This is a replacement for the part of Bender articulated (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:758305) named Link18. It includes a hole suitable for running an elastic cord (or wire) through, in order to help the legs better support Bender's weight.
I used the type of silvery elastic cord commonly used to tie small Christmas presents, available at any craft store (and most dollar stores). Thicker 2mm elastic cord will also fit through the holes with a little more effort.
Using elastic cord inside the links in the arms helps them hold a pose better, as well.
Print 18 of these. Tie knots in each end, then insert into the top and bottom segments for arms and legs.
Update: I've also included a beer bottle without hand-holes for Bender's storage area. It prints well with 0% infill and one shell.
