Beta95X V2 Bottom Plate
Since BetaFPV recycles their V1 camera mount as a bottom plate for the V2, I decided to build a better bottom plate. I didn't like that the quadrotor can't be placed horizontally at level and that the USB port is just not accessible, no matter how you flip the flight controller.
So this design fixes
leveled placement and
USB accessibility
and (optionally) adds
landing gear and
and a cable/receiver compartment.
Notes
All models require support except for the easy print versions, that dispense with the wings/flaps that close the lower notches in the molded frame. The version with USB also dispenses with the protrusion for the USB connector.
Other file names are long but pretty much self-explanatory.
Print using 100% infill.
The landing gear design is inspired by the Umma95.
The 1 mm spacing around the USB port is intentional to avoid the transmission of vibrations from the frame to the flight controller.
Two screws should be sufficient. One of the four holes in the molded frame has a different diameter anyway.
2 mm compartment version is good for storing a few cables (see 1st image, 2nd image is the plain flat version)
5 mm compartment version should be good for housing a receiver (not tested by myself).
Post your make!
