This the Worm Gear Mount that I use for the Z-Axis on my TEVO Tarantula.
The worm gear prevents that the x-axis beam falls on the print (or heatbed) after the motors are switched off or if a power failure occurs.
I have prepared a short version that simply sits on a 2020 beam and versions with longer "legs" that can be used to connect a 2020 beam with a 2040 beam. If you do not want to loose any build height on the Tarantula you should choose the one with one short side.
All parts can be printed without supports!
Use flat washers for the screws that connect the worm gear mount to the 2020 beam. Do not overtighten the screws or the mount will break.
Watch this thing to get updates! Post your "I Made Ones"! Comment! Remix! Fix things I messed up! ;)
The worm gear´s transmission ratio is 1:20 an the pulley has 20 teeth. Therefore the transmission ratio is the same as in the original setup and you do not need to make any changes to the Tarantula´s firmware!
A part list / bill of materials (BOM) is available here:

FreeCAD sources included. Some parts are sketch based. If you have to adjust hole diameters simply change the values in the sketches.
The X-Axis Connector is based on http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1746434
I made it a bit shorter and have added a groove to allow the belt to pass the part without touching it.

Update 18/12/2016
Return pulley mount: Added a fillet to the hole for the nut. That should make printing without supports easier.
