The bassinet we were given couldn't easily attach the 'mobile set' which we had that is designed for a larger cot (with bars).
Being a new housebound dad for a bit and with my new 3D printer for the occasion I measured up the end frame (Dimensions 21mm x 70mm) and designed a clip that latches onto it with just enough flex in the plastic to get it on and off and slide along. The mobile comes apart at the cot clip like many I believe and has a circular hole that feeds into the clip (mobile internal diameter 16mm and external diameter 20mm)

First print I have ever done in PLA which worked but felt a bit loose so I tweaked a few bits and re-printed in ABS after a bit more experience a week later.
***I guess basic disclaimer that would be the same for any device for children. Depending on how much weight you put on the mobile it can pull the clip off and have the mobile fall onto the infant. Best left hanging over the baby when supervised and turned out of the way when not. Could probably be remixed so if it does fail, fail 'out of the cot' more i just haven't got around to it myself yet.
