This is a fairly simple printed chassis, requiring a minimal number of non-printed parts. It could be used for various robotics or rc uses.
Print list:
1X CrossBrace
2X CrossSupport
2X Pinion
2X Gearbox
4X Wheel
Non-printed parts:
2X RS-550 motors, or motors with same shaft/ mounting setup
8X bushing, 1/4" ID, 3/8" OD
4X 1/4" rod, cut roughly 1.5" each
11X M4x10mm bolts
4X M3x5 bolts
4X rubber wristbands
For instruction on how to build this chassis, look at the Instructable going over its assembly:http://www.instructables.com/id/Simple-3D-Printed-Chassis/
I threaded the holes that the bolts mount into with an M4 tap, they seem to be holding up well.
It has been very durable and fun to use, but due to the single stage gearbox, is very high speed.
Message me if you have any questions about this project,
Enjoy!
