Barbell Lock

This is a barbell lock designed to keep others from using a barbell you might be storing in a public gym. The lock clamps over the end of the barbell and is padlockable. The extended sleeve of the lock prevents others from loading plates onto the bar in any usable fashion.
It will need supports and also requires an axle for the hinge. I used some spare 3mm rod I had leftover from a previous project. There's a cap to be glued onto the top of the when assembled.
If there's enough interest I'll look into a printed hinge.
