A new version of this model is now avalible. Ballerup Super Arena is the first danish Velodrome, and was the host for the 2002 and 2010 Cycling World Championships. Sadly some parts of the roof collapsed in Jan. 2003 (visible in the historic Google Earth maps). It was reopened in 2005. The Arena is also host for concerts, exhibitions, buisniss parties e.g. In the summer of 2009 aprox. 1.200 aditional permanent seats was installed, and mobile seats can be installed for large events. The capacity is now aprox. 6.000 (3.000 seats) for cycling events, 7.500 for Handball matches, and up to 9.000 standing spectators at concerts.
