Bag Holder

Problem:
An average family goes to the grocery store at least once a week. In that week a family obtains an average of 8 bags per a grocery store visit. Generally, people walk back and forth from their car to the garage door; bringing bags back and forth. There is discomfort when the plastic bags are wrapped around your skin. Also, the weight of the bags cause discomfort in the wrist. This makes it more prone to getting injured.

Goal:
For elders or people in general the task of carrying bags could be tiring or even time-consuming. The purpose of this innovation is help everyday citizens to carry their (grocery) bags efficiently without injuring themselves.

Design:
Here, I proposed an innovation that can help a user to carry bags easily. The handle of the of the holder shapes the formation a hand, and will fit in the average size hand. the edges of this design are well-rounded for comfort. The outward facing hook on the bottom provide a balanced weight. Not only does it provide a balanced weight, but it makes it easier for the user to put bags on while transferring the bags onto the hooks. The high curvature on the hooks prevent the plastic bags to slip off.

How does the tool function?
Simply, hold or hook the handle and put the bags on the hook. After your bags are on the hooks, you are able to carry your bags into your home.
