Background:
I use a baby gate to contain my pet in an area where I do not have a standard doorway. It was being held by some macguyvered end table, some packing boxes, and an open door 90 degrees off to the side. As such, it would fall down more often when the cardboard packing boxes started to get old and fatigue. This led to the pet getting into the kitchen where she shouldn't be! So glad I found this item!
Description:
Modified part from Baby Gate Stand used as a pet gate. by turbosupraman to work with my wooden gate.
The part thickness has been shortened to 20mm and the width of the gap has been increased to 38mm. If you have one of these super cheap wooden gates and your dimensions are the same, give this a try! It's a tight friction fit, but works great so far!!!
Update:
I've been using this for quite some time now, and I've noticed that the friction/notch has started to wear at my wooden gate. I've hot-glued the bracket to the gate and it seems to be holding SO MUCH BETTER NOW!
