Electronics workbench stationary ATX power supply splitter
This tool is designed to be attached on top of regular ATX PSU, it is a modification of other of my designs, but i want make it more universal if you only need a regular ATX voltages.
Replaced 24V and 15V rail for -5V and -12V, replaced the 24V high power rail by double 12V rail, Replaced AC switch by an common pole switch (7.5mm hole), increased font size from 3.5 to 5mm
Main propose is create an stationary PSU provides stables voltages, whit universal plugs, to connect projects when they need be powered but no monitored
Features included in this design:
Psu status led
On/Off switch
All voltages status led
Fuse protection for all voltages
Banana plug to easy prototype,
High current 12V rails, 20A whit 4p MiniFit JR, 30A whit 6p Minifit JR, ( if you want 8p rails, just ask for it :D)
All assemble are per-designed in Solid Works to make it compact, and using the parts i got from electronics scrap or cheap Chinese stuff.
You can fin the MiniFit JR males housings and pins just searching "minifit jr" or you can take old motherboards, and take the connectors whit a heat airgun. and glue in place. But i recommend bought the tool and extractor to work whit Minifit JR connectors, they are probably the most common medium power plug on DC applications.
