The Arduino Uno shield features the posibility to connect sensors and actuators directly to the Arduino without the need of a breadboard.
All outputs are connected to screw clamps to provide a secure electrical contact. Furthermore there are connections to work with molex connectors. Additionally there are a 16 and a 20 pin connector to connect with a LCD Display.
To work with higher loads there are 3 Mosfets connected to the Arduino pins. For the use of electric motors there are free-wheeling diodes built in.
The shield can be powered by 12V. The PCB is secured from overload by a fuse.
To work with a constant voltage at a other point, there are to srew connections that feature 12V and a 5V output.
To give a better user handling there are some user features like a buzzer and LEDs that can be controlled by the Arduino outputs.
I hope you like the shield.
