This is a replacement for the mainboard fan mount of the Mega X.
It is made to hold a Noctua NF-A9X14 PWM, but another fan with the same size (92 mm), hole spacing (82.5 mm) and a maximum height of 14 mm might work as well.
The fan mount is attached to the two holes in the printer case that hold the original mainboard fan mount, as well as to one of the mainboard corner holes.
The silicone pins that come with the NF-A9X14 need to be pulled through the fan mount, so that only the large flat disk is on the bottom. When mounted to the printer, these flat disks will barely touch the printer's bottom cover. I didn't cut the silicone pins after placing the fan inside the mount.
When using TMC2208/9 stepper drivers with high radiators, these need to be replaced or trimmed down.
The two holes that match the original fan mount need to be pre-threaded with M3 screws.
A longer screw is required for the mainboard corner hole. One of the two screws from the original fan will do the job.
