Just one tiny, amusingly simple way in which citizens can stand up to the runaway military-industrial complex and frustrate government efforts to violate our rights. The Fourth Amendment guarantees that your privacy can't be violated except by court order, when there is probable cause that you have committed an actual crime. Yet we know that mass data collection programs were founded on the principle that everyone is a suspect in unspecified "future crimes"...
The feds have been confirmed to posses trojan malware that can turn on your computer's webcam without your knowledge. There is no legitimate purpose for them to use such tools against an individual in their home, so why allow them the chance? I designed and printed this thing a while back, but I was on the fence about publishing it because it's so damned simple. Today, I decided "what the hell"; who cares if it's simple? It's effective. And simplicity is actually a good thing! The most sophisticated intelligence network in human history... defeated by 10 cents worth of plastic. :D
Modern iMacs are thinner, so you may need to adjust the thickness accordingly.
Enjoy!
