A mount to add the ANTCLABS BLTouch to the BQ Hephestos Prusa i3. Users have reported this design also works on the Anet A8 and other printers.
This mount is easily installed behind the blower fan. (You may need longer screws) For firmware, I'm using Marlin RC-8. I've uploaded a .zip of the firmware currently running on the printer. Please upload to your printer at your own risk, I'd suggest you follow the setup instruction guide (particularly page 5) in the downloads and configure your current firmware rather than using mine. These instructions were not produced by me, I just uploaded them here because the link I had is now broken.
Once your firmware is uploaded, don't forget to add a G29 (auto bed leveling) code to the end your slicer's startup script!
11/4/17 - Uploaded version for Anet A8.
I'm using a z offset of -.45 .
12/9/16: Uploaded updated bracket and adjusted height of the probe. I measured it at 6.08 mm from extruder nozzle to the bottom of the housing. This is supposed to be 8mm, so I adjusted the height. Also added a hole to access the set screw adjustment.
1/4/2017: Uploaded what I believe should be the final revision of the bracket. I have done some testing and the height seems to work well. Added a slot so the blower does not have to be unplugged for installation.
