The reinforcement consists of three parts and needs additional 8mm rods. It prevents the acrylic frame parts from bending when tensioning your y_belt.
I measured them on my ANet A8 and they fit quite well.
The front part is placed around the original bracktes for the y_belt tension, the back part is positioned via the holding part of the stepper motor.
They are not supposed to withstand force, they merely hold the rod in place so infill can be 10% or less.
I used 13,7 mm and 21,9 mm long aluminum tubes, but M8 threaded rod fits as well.
