I created this case to mount on the side of my Anet A8 and hold a MKS Gen V1.4 mainboard, Raspberry Pi 3, and a MOSFET for the heatbed.
Hardware:
8 * M3 Nuts
8 * M3 Washers (Recommended)
8 * M3 x 12 Screws
4 * M2 Nuts
4 * M2 Washers (Recommended)
4 * M2 x 12 Screws
3 Screws and Nuts to attach to frame. (No particular size required. Test with your frame.)
120mm Fan
40mm Fan
Micro USB Left Angle Cable (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00U2DGHP2)
The top is easy to attach and remove using the provided clips. They are different sizes and only fit snugly in each positions. (Two of them are the same size.)
You can mount the entire chassis after you install the boards. The mounting holes are not obscured by the boards.
This enclosure leaves room for the frame braces/stabilizers, such as the one I use: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2099154
As you can see from my photos, this chassis supports mounting an SDRamps adapter directly to the board and supports inserting and removing (using a tool).
There is some additional space still in the chassis for easy remixes.
I've added a .step file of all of the components for remixing.
Update 2018/6/1: As requested, v31 of the model has clips that are all the same length.
