The Hammerfist is a realistic next generation assault rifle. It has a 160 round rotating box magazine and a 12 round semi-automatic 25mm grenade launcher. The gun uses a battery to operate its electric-spark firing mechanism (The bullets use a HMX primer instead of black powder, this saves space and gives more efficient propulsion) The muzzle-brake channels the muzzle blast through an in-built partial silencer and then directs the waste gasses backwards and upwards to neutralise recoil and muzzle-lift. The main magazine holds 32 tubes on a conveyor system. Each tube has 5 assault-grade bullets in it and when it becomes empty, the magazine rotates to the next tube to keep the bullet flow going. Barrel assemblies, topsights and foregrip attachemnts are all fixed in place with clips and can be removed and replaced in about 10 seconds, no screwdrivers, no nuts, no bolts. The topsight is a projected holographic sight, it projects 2 large reticles into the space before the user allowing for greater field of vision and faster target acquisition. Due to the electronic operation, the 12-round grenade launcher is operated by the main firing trigger, holding down a thumb-paddle on the foregrip transfers the trigger function to the launcher.
