AMX International AMX
Ground attack aircraft made by Italy and Brazil in the '80 years.
In 1977 Italy started the study for a replacement of their G.91 and in 1981 Brazil did join the project due their need to replace their Aermacchi MB326 fleet.
The joint venture gave birth to the AMX international formed by Embraer, Aermacchi and Aeritalia; near 200 aircrafts were produced between 1986 and 1999.
The two variants differs in avionics and fixed armament; the Italian AMX A-11 Ghibli (136 built) is equipped with a 20mm M-61 Vulcan on left side and the Brazilian A-1 (56 built) mounts two Defa 30mm cannon (Usa denied sale of Vulcan cannon to Brazil).
Both variants are modelled in the single seat configuration at 1:100 scale.
Print test at 1:285 with 0.2mm nozzle (but still sliceable with 0.4mm nozzle and 1:300 scale) and 0.12 mm layers.
Printed with a Ender3 as shown in the image taken from PrusaSlicer 2.0.
I opted for the two-part version to keep most of the tail and nose details; use some sandpaper and in the end the glued joint is not so visible and once painted almost invisible.
Ciao
